Rebounding from a broken fan blade that knocked him out of a transfer spot in Thursday night's heat race at Eldora, Bobby took the lead on the 21st lap of Friday night's 25-lap feature and pulled away by over three seconds as he grabbed the $10,000 World 100 preliminary night victory. He went from fourth to first between laps 19-21 in a wild four-car duel for the lead.

“I’ve just got to give a big hand to my crew and my dad and everyone that works on the car,” Pierce said. “I think they kind of won the race for me with the choices they made for the feature.
